Well folks, the "Get Down Glory" tour of 2012 is in full swing, and I am doing my best to keep the calendar updated, as dates are confirmed. I will be playing mostly around Savannah, but will be venturing off into SC and NC, with plans to do more of that later in the year.

All dates are clearly marked "SOLO" or "Magical Flying Machine". Solo is me by myself, and MFM is Ryan Sylvester on bass, Brother Russ on drums, and yours truly on vocals and electric guitar.

CIGAR BOX GUITAR is at every gig solo, or band :) Please make plans to come and see me soon, and I will let you know when the new cd is available on-line. It should be soon.

Thank you for your continued support!

Kyle

You are listening to my new cd "Get Down Glory", right now!

"No Coke In My Whiskey", "Feelin' Kind of Blue", and "Ramblin' Gamblin' Blues" were all recorded by Jeff Beasley, here in Savannah, and these recordings were on last year's internet release "An Angel and A Devil",which is now unavailable. All the rest of these tracks were recorded by Sterling Martin in Richmond Hill Georgia. Some of these songs were on "An Angel and A Devil", but these are new recordings.

We will have copies for sale at all shows, and will have it available on the web real soon. Thank you for your support!

We will have the new cd at all solo and Magical Flying Machine shows, and soon it will be available on the web! Hope to see you soon, and thank you for your continued support!

2011 brought more changes in my life than any one year ever has, and all the changes have been GREAT! 2012 is already shaping up to be a break out year, with a new CD on the way, and plans to play all around the southeast, both solo, and with my band "The Magical Flying Machine". My new solo cd has already been recorded and mastered and is awaiting art work, and we are planning on recording the band in the near future.

To anyone who would happen to stop by here and read this, Happy Holidays to you and your family, and thank you for your support!

See ya next year!

Kyle

Hello and a Happy New Year to you all! Planning on playing a lot of music to a lot of people, and painting a lot of paintings this year, and I want to thank you all for being a part of my world!

Just posted the music schedule for Jan-Feb-March 2010. Hope to see you soon!

This is my first music video! My friend John Baer shot it on Tybee Island, Georgia, in August of this year. You will want to hit "STOP" on the music player above, and then click on this link! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96MPFlwHmlU Tony Richards-bass, Paul Cooper- drums, Georgia Kyle- vox and guitar

Hey folks! Recently, I went over to my friend Jeff Beasley's studio, and recorded a demo of some songs for a possible future CD. Have posted them all here! They will play through automatically, or you can go to the music section, and listen as you please. Three of the tunes were on my last solo CD "Live @ Cafe Loco, but I wanted studio cuts of them. All the rest are new tunes. Please enjoy, and leave your comments in the guest book! As always, THANKS for your support! Kyle
Played 24 times in July, and am scheduled as of now, to play about the same number of gigs in August! You know I love my guitar, so lots of gigs is GREAT! Have been getting ready to record a new CD of original songs, that will be a very lightly produced recording. Perhaps some harmony, and bass, and a bit of percussion, but very striped down, and I will record my parts live :) Also, for you out of town folks who come to town to see me, don't be surprised at my new electric blues trio! Me on electric guitar, Tony Richards on bass, and we have several different drummers that we are working with. I love all kinds of music, and miss the Bluegrass,(Marshgrass!!!) but i just had to have a change, and the trio just "happened", like everything else in my life does. I hope to still do some shows with my Bluegrass friends, but for now, it's all about the Blues baby! Also, I took the "Guest Book" down for about a year, because of so many spammers, but have put it back up now. Feel free to drop me a line, and please, if you haven't already, sign up on my mailing list! Hope to see you soon! Georgia Kyle
my good pal Jason Phillips, made the design for me, and here are the shirts! Something for the guys AND the gals! just visit http://www.cafepress.com/georgiakyle
I am now taking students for guitar lessons! Learn finger-style, bluegrass, rock, whatever you want :) e-mail kyle@georgiakyle.com OR call 912-604-3762 to set up a lesson.
2008 was another great and busy year here in Savannah. I'd like to thank all the folks who keep me working, and support live local music! Let's hope for a great 2009! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
"Georgia" Kyle was recently voted "Best Local Musician" by the readers of the Tybee Breeze! Thanks to all of you who voted for me, and who have supported me for the past 5 years! It was an honor to recieve this award!
"Georgia" Kyle Shiver and Fiddlin' Scott Holton have been playing together for a year and a half now, and are celebrating their musical friendship by releasing a CD together this summer! The CD will contain songs recorded by Jeff Bullins at Savannah College of Art and Design, as well as a few tracks recorded at Elevated Basement studios, and a live track recorded at Tybee Island's Cafe Loco. The CD is finished, and we hope to have them ready and for sale before Labor Day.
A big thanks to the Marshgrass Boys for coming out and playing with me. Fiddlin' Scott, Jimmy Wolling, and Mr Savannah Tim Burke all came out and we had a great time! Also a big shout out to local band and Cafe Loco regulars Mr Wiley, who closed out the day just right: with people yelling for MORE :) So many people got involved and helped make this benefit a HUGE succcess! All the folks from Fannies, the Crab Shack, Debbie at Atlantic Beacon Gallery, Kevin Allen, Al and Marie, Frank and Laura, anyone who donated or volunteered: THANKS!!! I spoke with Joel, and he is looking forward to opening ASAP, and he is already talking about the opening day PARTY
That's right, I recently was runner up for "Best Acoustic Act" in CONNECT, here in Savannah. First time i've ever gotten anything from a contest, and i didn't know anything about it! Joe Nelson, who is a very well respected fiddler here in Savannah was the winner, and it is an honor to have my name mentioned next to his! Joe plays the good old time music, and besides the fiddle, he plays mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and guitar. Many thanks to all of you who voted!!! Also a big shout out to Jim Reed, who always supports me from CONNECT.
Thats right folks. If you'd like a copy, just check out the "buy" section. CD Baby is a GREAT store where you can listen to samples, read album info,etc... Now there's no excuse to not own a copy!
